D.O.T. Substance Abuse Professional Services
The U.S. Department of Transportation requires that all workers who are employed in a safety sensitive position and have violated a D.O.T. drug and alcohol regulation be evaluated by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) before being considered for return to work. This includes an assessment, recommendations for education, treatment, follow-up evaluation, follow-up testing and aftercare. The worker cannot return to work in any state in the U.S. in a D.O.T. regulated transportation position until this process is completed. CRA maintains a Substance Abuse Professional on staff to assist you with this process.
